DJP-DEJV Fibre Optic Training under SMSB Young Talent Programme

DJP (Datajasa Plus) in collaboration with DEJV (DOM EEB Joint Venture International),
successfully conducted a three-day classroom and hands-on fibre optic training programme from 12 to 14 January 2026 at its Sejingkat Warehouse Training Room. The programme was carried out under the Young Talent Programme, an initiative by Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (SMSB), with participants from SMSB and DEJV.
The training combined classroom sessions with practical hands-on activities focusing on fibre optic cable attachment works. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of fibre optic technology and gained direct exposure to real-world installation practices under guided supervision.
Through this initiative, participants developed a clearer understanding of how fibre optic systems support critical railway infrastructure and in addition to their role in the wider telecommunications sector.
The programme was well received, and participants expressed their appreciation for the valuable technical exposure. This collaboration reflects DJP and DEJV's commitment in supporting SMSB's Young Talent Programme through skills development, knowledge transfer, and the nurturing of future young industry professionals.
